Spicy Honey Garlic Beef Spaghetti (Printable)

Sweet-savory ground beef and sticky glaze meet spicy spaghetti, garnished with green onions and sesame.

# Ingredient List:

→ Beef and Sauce

01 - 14 ounces ground beef
02 - 3 cloves garlic, minced
03 - 3 tablespoons soy sauce
04 - 2 tablespoons honey
05 - 1 tablespoon rice vinegar or white vinegar
06 - 1 teaspoon sesame oil
07 - 1 teaspoon chili flakes
08 - Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

→ Pasta

09 - 10 ounces spaghetti
10 - 1 tablespoon olive oil

→ Garnish

11 - 2 green onions, finely sliced
12 - 1 teaspoon sesame seeds, optional

# Steps:

01 - Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil. Add the spaghetti and cook until al dente, following package instructions. Drain thoroughly and drizzle with olive oil to prevent sticking. Set aside.
02 - In a mixing bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, vinegar, sesame oil, and chili flakes until fully combined.
03 - Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add a small amount of cooking oil, then sauté the minced garlic until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Add ground beef, season with salt and freshly ground black pepper, and cook, breaking it up, until beef is browned throughout.
04 - Pour the prepared sauce over the cooked beef in the skillet. Lower the heat to medium and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 5 to 7 minutes until the mixture thickens and becomes sticky.
05 - Add the cooked spaghetti directly into the skillet with beef and sauce. Toss well until the noodles are completely coated and heated through. Add sliced green onions and stir to incorporate.
06 - Divide between serving bowls. Garnish with sesame seeds and additional green onions, if desired.
